	Ghosts of Old Rochesterville The local history of the Rochester area is steeped in a rich and somewhat bloody history. It dates back to the mid 1600s when the French first set foot ashore in Irondequoit. There were wars for greed, conquest, territory, and independence fought over this area. All the stories in this book are from either my own experiences, or were told to me by people on one of my investigations or ghost walks. They experienced the “ghost” first hand. In most stories, I changed the names of the living and give only the street name, to respect the privacy of the families. I am not going to tell you ghosts are real. That is for you to decide for yourself; as for me, my money is on the ghosts. One thing I have found, there are a lot of ghost stories out there. Most are not legend status like “The White Lady of Durand Eastman Park,” those are the ones everyone hears about. These are the small ones, ones that still deserve to be told and remembered. What is a Psychic Reading

What is a ghost walk?

A ghost walk is a short walk in an area that is haunted.
We stop along the walk and tell both the history
and the ghosts stories of the area. As an added
attraction we will use divining rods to
"speak" with the ghosts and allow
you to use them for a chat.

How long are the ghost walks?

Ghost walks take about an hour to an hour and a half.

What about a rainy night?

Dress appropriately Ghost walks depart fair or foul weather.

Do you charge for children?

Children under 5 are free, 5 to 10 are five dollars ($5.00)

What is a ghost dinner?

A ghost dinner starts with the history of the restaurant and area as you enjoy a
beverage prior to dinner. After dinner we let you choose four stories
from a number of local ghost stories. After we will communicate with
the house ghosts using divining rods. You will be able to
use them and "speak" with the ghosts yourself.

How long is a ghost dinner

Ghost dinners take about two and one half to three hours.

Is dinner or beverages included in the ghost dinner?

No, food and beverages are not included. You will be billed separately
by the restaurant for your food and beverages.

-These events present their own risks and we cannot always control what may or may not happen.
-We allow children of all ages, but ask that an adult 18 years of age or older supervise children under 13 and maintain control at all times.
